Crystal created The Kanata, Carp, And Stittsville Stocking Project 6 years ago, where she rallies the community together each year during the holiday season and provides gifts to those in the community who are least expecting it. These recipients are surprised with elves who show up at their house with armfuls of gifts after being referred by other community members for some joy during the holiday season after a particularly difficult year.
Crystal also runs a private practice addiction counselling office and conducts personal, confidential, crisis and addiction counselling weekly.
Crystal spent 15 years with the Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services as a team leader. I am a mother and wife. My family is amazing there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t learn something from my daughter and spouse. They are strong loving individuals who give me the strength and drive to be better and do better. I love to read and swim. Our family loves Disney and we take every chance we get to spend time there. When we aren’t going, we spend our time outside on our deck or at the ball fields cheering on our daughter.
